It is one of many hill points in Mahabaleshwar. It has a magnificent view around . You can’t stop yourself spending some time there observing those breathtaking views. Beware of monkeys though they are not disturbing. This is a very nice place, all age group can visit here, Arthur’s seat can’t be visited by everyone. This one is vehicle accessible. Nice point to see where stone is shaped like elephants head. It is also called as Needlehole point adjacent to Kate’s point. View from top is very beautiful and also good to shoot panoramic shots.. Nice place to visit with family for 1-2 hrs.

Beware of monkeys though they are not disturbing. You have to walk certain distance to view this place, but really it’s worth. It has some breath taking views from the top. You can see terrace-like hills, which in rainy season are magnificent, especially if you have not seen something like that before.

Mapro Gardens is a garden park in the hill station of Panchgani, Maharashtra, India, situated close to Mahabaleshwar, known for their strawberry produce, and a popular tourist destination. It is host to the annual Strawberry Festival. Mahabaleshwar contributes to 85% of the total Strawberry produce in India and about 80% is consumed fresh. The Strawberry Festival encourages the strawberry cultivation in the belt. The highlights of this festival are fresh farm picked strawberry lined up on tables for visitors to eat to their fullest as well as traditional folk performances such as Shivkalin Dhol and Lezim, a high energy dance for which dancers are invited from Pratapgad.

The Mahabaleshwar Temple is a famous Hindu temple devoted to lord Shiva. The temples is divided into two sectors a central hall and a god chamber,A lingam(black stone)is workshiped in the temple which is regarded as the sign of the Divinity.

During season time its too crowded due to which we had to walk leaving aside the cab we had done. nice place to visit. Locals say that the temple is over 900 years old. If that is true, you’d wonder how they managed to set up something like a temple so far away from civilization. It is a nice little temple and could be visited if you have the time and interest to see local religious places.
